Welcome to Makhmal by Dastkaar (“Makhmal”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting makhmalbydastkaar.shop or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before you shop.

1. About us

Makhmal by Dastkaar is a Pakistan-based brand selling handcrafted beaded and embellished products, including clutches, bags, table decor, cushion covers, prayer mats, Quran covers, and wedding heirlooms.

2. Handmade products

All our products are handmade. Small differences in beadwork, size, shade, and placement of designs are natural and are part of the handmade character. They are not defects. Product photos are taken with care, but the colors you see may vary slightly depending on your screen, lighting, and the batch of beads and fabric.

3. Pricing

• All prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
• Prices and discounts may change at any time without notice.
• Sale and discount prices apply only for the period shown on the website.
• If a price is listed incorrectly, we may cancel or correct the order and will contact you first.

4. Orders

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is confirmed only after we receive the PKR 500 advance payment and our team confirms it.
• We may cancel or refuse any order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price is wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you or issue a Makhmal Credit Voucher.
• Please make sure your name, phone number, and address are correct. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by wrong or incomplete details.
• Stock is limited. Items shown on the website may sell out before your order is confirmed.

5. Payment

• We charge an advance of PKR 500 on all orders, paid only to the official Makhmal account:

• After paying, send a screenshot of the receipt to our team so we can confirm your order.
• The remaining amount is paid in cash on delivery within Pakistan.
• Makhmal is not responsible for payments sent to any other account.
• Orders without the advance payment will not be processed.
• The PKR 500 advance is non-refundable once the order is confirmed.
• We never ask for your card PIN, OTP, or online banking password.

6. Shipping and delivery

• Orders usually take 4 to 7 working days to reach you, depending on your location.
• Customized and out-of-stock products may take longer. Our team will keep you updated.
• We deliver through trusted courier companies. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, public holidays, or events outside our control.
• If your address is outside our couriers’ coverage, we will contact you to find another solution.
• Custom duties or other taxes on imported products are paid by the customer (the importer).
• Please check your parcel carefully when it arrives (see Section 7).

7. Returns, exchanges, and refunds

• We offer a refund and/or exchange only if your product arrives damaged.
• You must record a continuous, unedited unboxing video that starts before the parcel is opened, shows the courier label, and clearly shows the damaged item.
• Report damage within 48 hours of receiving your parcel by sending the video, your order number, and your name to us on WhatsApp at +92 332 6254625.
• We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind.
• We do not offer exchanges, returns, or refunds on sale items.
• Approved refunds are issued as a Makhmal Credit Voucher, valid for 6 months from the issue date.
• Items approved for exchange must be unused and in their original packaging.

8. Custom and made-to-order items

Custom designs and made-to-order items take longer to make. Once production has started, they cannot be canceled, and we do not accept returns on them unless they arrive damaged.

9. Discount codes and offers

• Discount codes and offers are valid only for the dates and conditions shown.
• A code cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so.
• We may withdraw any offer at any time, and we may cancel orders where a code has been misused.

10. Intellectual property

All photos, designs, logos, text, videos, and other content on this website belong to Makhmal by Dastkaar. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Use of the website

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to harm or disrupt it, submit false orders, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Makhmal is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

13. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the website means you accept the changes.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.
